MEALS & ACCOMMODATION
Meals and accommodation are accessible for this trek. You will be staying in the local teahouse (lodge) and camp during your trip. There will be Nepali, Tibetan, European, Continental etc. dishes available for the meals.
INCLUDES & EXCLUDES
Prices DO Include: Accommodation, meals, transfers, tours, staffs, vehicle hire, government taxes and any other inclusions as specified in writing on the relevant web pages for each suppliers product.
Prices DO NOT Include: Any costs incurred en route to and from the destination, meals (unless specified), alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, items of a personal nature, laundry, trekking/tour/climbing equipment and personal services not specified as being included in costs on the relevant web pages for each suppliers product.
EQUIPMENT
Proper and enough equipment is required for your Trek and Climbing. It will be better if you buy your necessary equipment in Kathmandu or bring from your home. Even some trekking and climbing equipment are available on hiring. Trekking/Tours/Climbing equipment may not be available on the trekking route and if they are available, they will cost very much. SAFETY Β
Be aware that during your participation on vacations operated by W Adventures, certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control, including, but not limited to: the hazards of traveling in undeveloped areas; forces of nature; political unrest; acts of lawlessness or terrorism; and accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities.
INSURANCE
You need to have proper insurance for your trek and climbing, which it is hardly recommended. If somethingΒ goes wrong e.g. accident, emergency evacuation etc. your insurance will help to cover your loss.
TRAVELERS WHO NEED SPECIAL ASSISTANCE
You must report to W Adventures for any disability requiring special attention while on trekking or on tour at the time the reservation is made. W Adventures will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the special needs of disabled travelers.
MEDICAL AND HEALTH
W Adventures does not employ medical personnel. Any medical attention you require while traveling with W Adventures must be sought through a local medical facility, if/when available, for diagnosis. All related charges are at your expense. W Adventures cannot guarantee the availability of medical facilities or for the quality of the care or services.
PRICE POLICY
All vacation prices are based on rates (reflecting foreign exchange rates) known at the time of publication and expected to be in effect at the time of departure, and do not include airfare, except where noted on specific itineraries. Vacation prices are per-person, based on double occupancy (two people sharing a room). Single room supplements and triple reductions are listed where applicable. Not all accommodation types are available on all vacations and places.
VISAS & PASSPORTS
It is your responsibility to verify all visa and passport requirements necessary for your vacation. You are responsible for obtaining independently and paying for all visas and entry documents, for meeting all health and other requirements, and for any documents required by the laws, regulations, orders, and/or requirements of the countries you will visit. W Adventures cannot accept liability for any passenger refused entry onto any transport or into any country due to the failure of the passenger to carry correct documentation or adhere to specific entry and exit requirements. You must have a passport to travel internationally.
TIPPING
Tipping is expected (not mandatory) which you can offer on your wish to your staff and driver. They will be happy.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350 m / 4428 ft) transfer to Hotel,
Day 02: Trip preparation day and Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing,
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu (1350 m / 4428 ft) to Lukla (2840 m / 9315 ft) and trek to Puiyan (2800 m / 9184 ft), 4-5 hrs,
Day 04: Trek from Puiyan to Pangom (2800 m / 9184 ft),
Day 05: Trek from Pangom to Nashing Dingma (2600 m / 8528 ft),
Day 06: Trek from Nashing Dingma to Chalem Kharka (3600 m / 11808 ft)
Day 07: Chunbu Kharka (4200 m / 13776 ft),
Day 08: Rest and exploring day around Chunbu Kharka (4200 m / 13776 ft),
Day 09: Trek from Chunbu Kharka to Hinku Valley Camp (3600 m / 11808 ft),
Day 10: Trek from Hinku Valley Camp to Tagnag (4400 m / 14432 ft),
Day 11: Acclimatization and trip preparations day at Tagnag (4400 m / 14432 ft),
Day 12-13: Hike to Base Camp and trip preparation day (5000 m / 16400 ft),
Day 14-15: Summit Mera Peak(6460 m / 21189 ft),
Day 16: Spare day if necessary (weather change or other technical problems),
Day 17-18: Trek into the Hunku Valley,
Day 19: Rest day if necessary,
Day 20-21: Trek from Hunku Valley to Island Peak Base Camp (5100 m / 16728 ft) via crossing Amphu Laptsa (5845 m / 19172 ft),
Day 22: Spare day if necessary (weather change or other technical problems),
Day 23: Summit Island Peak (6189 m / 20300 ft) and return Chukung (4730 m / 15514 ft),
Day 24: Trek from Chukung to Tengboche (3860 m / 12661 ft), 5-6 hrs,
Day 25: Trek from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3440 m / 11283 ft), 5-6 hrs,
Day 26: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2840 m / 9315 ft), 7-8 hrs,
Day 27: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (1350 m / 4428 ft), 25 minutes,
Day 28: Fly back home.
