Trekking in Nepal & Election

Recently there was Local Level Election, which was after 20 years of period. Many Nepali people were looking forward about it and finally it had held. Still some parties are not happy about it and second stage election is going to held after three weeks.

After the election, the tourist flow in Nepal is very slow. They believe that it might cause some kind of local fight (between parties) and their journey might be disturbed which is somehow true in one hand side. On the other hand side, those people who had planned to come in Nepal for the trek or other adventurous activities have got problem from the election and most of them have cancelled their trip.

We have one famous proverb in Nepal “Guest are our god”, so the election cannot hamper the trekker and their journey. They can do the trek without any disturbance and confusion.
