Itinerary


Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Tibetan border and continue drive to Zhangmu (1600 M), (Hotel + FB),

Day 02: Drive from Zhangmu to Naylam (3700 M), 2 hrs, (Hotel + FB),

Day 03: Acclimatization, hike to the hill above the city (3700 M), (Hotel + FB),

Day 04: Four hours drive from Naylam to Tingri (4300 M), (Hotel + FB),

Day 05: Rest day for acclimatization, hike to the hill above the city, (Hotel + FB),

Day 06: Drive from Tingri to Chinese Base Camp (5200 M), 4-5 hrs, (Camp + FB),

Day 07-08: Rest and acclimatization at Chinese Base Camp, provision of Yaks and preparation for Advance Base Camp (ABC) trek, (Camp + FB),

Day 09: Trek from Chinese Base Camp to Middle Camp (5300 M) along the 4×4 track, (Camp + FB),

Day 10: Trek from Middle Camp to the ABC (5700 M) of Cho Oyu, (Camp + FB),

Day11-34: Climbing (Summit) Period of Cho Oyu (8201 M), (Camp + FB),

Day 35: Dismantling ABC, trek to Middle Camp, drive to Tingri, (Hotel + FB),

Day 36: Drive from Tingri to Zhangmu, 6-7 hrs, (Hotel + B-L).

  • Five yaks per member CBC to ABC and three Yaks per member ABC to CBC to carry bags, foods, equipments,
  • 40 KGS per member for personal equipments,
  • Good quality tent per member and Sherpa,
  • Expedition equipments: camp furniture, kitchenware, dining tents, guest tents etc.
  • Appropriate food for high altitude and all climbing crew at Base Camp and above as required,
  • Solar panel (for light & battery charge) & gas heater at Base Camp,
  • Epi gas including high altitude cooking pot & stove,
  • Oxygen (Russian) including one set mask & regulator (per member & Sherpas),
  • Satellite phone & walkie-talkie for communication and available for members,
  • All necessary Climbing route equipments,
